Friday 10th March was a massive day for Grampian Police Scotland Pipe Band.  After many years’ absence, the Band returned to Tulliallan Castle, Kincardine, the Headquarters of Police Scotland and the home of the Scottish Police College, to lead a Passing Out Parade for more than 170 Probationary Constables.

38 of these new Officers will serve within the North East of Scotland, the home territory of the Band

The Inspecting Officer was Police Scotland Chief Constable Phil Gormley QPM.  The Chief Constable took time out during the Parade to speak with the Band Members and he was extremely complimentary in relation to the Band’s performance during his address to the Parade and audience, which numbered in excess of 1000.
